Work Experience

• Built the first ever fully AI based recognition application using NextJS and Bun. Has over 100,000 new users actively using it with almost 99% uptime. I could not reach triple 9 territory because of database issues.
• Optimized and removed unnecessary PHP bloat from the internal ERP system by updating the Apache PHP version and migrating the code to Laravel.
• Migrated from a Monolithic PHP based backend to a more modern Java / Go based backend system for newer projects. Improving performance drastically and reducing CI/CD duration to double digits.
• Helped build a more modern CI/CD pipeline using Gitlab and introduced performant programming languages like Rust and Go.
• Migrated over 100 different applications from docker containers to Kubernetes, whilst adding observability requirements from OpenTelemetry and standardized JSON based logging.
• Created local CDN networks utilizing Nginx and Minio to increase cache speeds and frontend application performance.
• Deployed and utilized Rook Ceph to add more data security and pooling for our Kubernetes clusters.
